Which levels can I study today?
Catalan has every season, from A1 to C2.
Is it for beginners?
Yes, you can start with your first words. If you already know some, the level test places you at the right level.
Do I have to type or speak?
No typing, and nothing records you: every exercise uses a tap. But do speak: we strongly recommend saying every word and line out loud. That's what Time to repeat is for: it leaves a pause after each spoken line so you can repeat it. Replay the dialogue whenever you want another pass.
Is it really free?
Yes. The entire A1 course is free, including side stories: no limits, no ads and no credit card required. Episode 1 of every later season is also free, as are Review of what you've learned, for good, podcasts, grammar and pronunciation, and you can try speaking with the story's cast (30 turns a month). The subscription adds every season from A2 onwards, speaking with the cast, books and audiobooks, your own decks and exam preparation.
How do I start?

What happens after 31 October?
